SY-32 Synergi Gas Distribution Modules
This course is a combination of a number of smaller courses. Sample data is used to go through the entire model building process, including clean-up and a look forwards at updating models.
This course is offered as classroom training, or as online training (see schedule below).
Description
This course is a combination of a number of smaller courses. Sample data is used to go through the entire model building process, including clean-up and a look forwards at updating models. You will start from an empty Oracle schema and proceed to import CIS data into CMM (Customer Management Module), generate and analyse loads, and assign customers to the model you just built. We will look at how to run isolation scenarios and generate lists of affected customers. Time permitting we will review how pipe sizing is done across a network and what kinds of results are produced for regulator station overpressure protection. You will take away helpful course material.
Learning objectives
To gain a working and theoretical knowledge of the following Synergi Gas advanced hydraulic modelling software modules:
- Model Builder
- Facilities Management Module (FMM)
- Customer Management Module (CMM)
- Area Isolation Module (AIM)
- Automated Design Module (ADM)
- Regulator Station Module (RSM)
Target group
Users who have attended a Synergi Gas standard course and/or have extensive experience using Synergi Gas for network analysis and will be using the software to build and update low pressure distribution models from GIS data, generate customer loads, perform network isolation scenarios, design new networks, and/or prepare overpressure protection documentation for regulator station. Users who have experience with the modules in older versions, may find this class particularly useful, as the current version of Synergi Gas is always used in class.
